Damselfly on Yellow Velvetleaf
Damselfly (Ischnura spp.) on Yellow Velvetleaf (Limnocharis flava)

Damselflies and dragonflies are easily told apart by the position of their wings when at rest. Almost all damselflies fold
their wings back in line with the abdomen while the dragonfly extends its wings horizontally out to the sides. In addition,
damselfly eyes have a space between them while in most dragonflies the eyes touch in the forehead area.
